At Medical Cannabis Dispensary South Africa (MCDSA), we are committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service. If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or not functioning as intended, we will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet all of the following conditions:
The product arrived damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered.
The issue is reported within the timeframes outlined in this policy.
The product has not been used beyond what is reasonably necessary to identify the reported fault.
The product is returned, where applicable, in its original packaging, together with all accessories, manuals, and documentation.
To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team within 48 hours of receiving your order.
Please include:
Your order number.
A detailed description of the issue.
Clear photographs and/or videos showing the defect or damage.
Once your request has been reviewed, we will provide instructions on how to return the product. Returns sent without prior authorisation may not be accepted.
Once your returned product has been received, it will be inspected to verify the reported issue.
If your claim is approved, MCDSA may, at its discretion, provide one of the following remedies:
A full refund.
A replacement product at no additional cost.
Store credit for future purchases.
Refunds will only be processed once the returned product has been inspected and the claim has been approved.
The following products are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund:
Products showing signs of use beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the reported defect.
Products damaged through misuse, negligence, improper storage, accidental damage, or unauthorised modification after delivery.
Products returned because the customer has changed their mind or no longer requires the item.
Consumable products, except where they are confirmed to be defective or materially misrepresented.
For hygiene, safety, and regulatory reasons, consumable products are generally non-returnable and non-refundableonce they have been opened, used, partially used, or otherwise tampered with.
If a consumable product is believed to be defective or faulty, MCDSA may require the product to be returned for inspection before approving a replacement, refund, or other appropriate remedy.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, customers are responsible for the cost of returning products.
Where a product is confirmed to be defective, damaged upon delivery, or supplied incorrectly, MCDSA may reimburse reasonable return shipping costs or arrange collection at its discretion. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
If your order arrives damaged or develops a manufacturing fault, please notify us as soon as possible.
Where inspection confirms that the product is defective or was damaged prior to delivery, MCDSA will, at its discretion:
Replace the product at no additional cost.
Issue a full refund to your original payment method.
Provide another suitable remedy in accordance with applicable South African consumer protection legislation.
Claims relating to damaged, defective, or incorrectly supplied products must be submitted within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Customers are encouraged to report any visible damage within 48 hours of receiving their order to assist with verification.
Claims submitted outside these timeframes may not be accepted unless otherwise required by law.
Nothing contained in this Refund & Returns Policy limits or excludes any rights afforded to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008, or any other applicable South African legislation. Where this policy conflicts with applicable law, the relevant legislation shall prevail.
